FTC published the new EnergyGuide label requirement for clothes washers on February 11, 2016 and the effective date of this rule is May 11, 2016.

Product Scope:

• Standard clothes washers
• Compact clothes washers

Action Plan：

• The clothes washers (both Standard and Compact), on or after May 11, 2016 must meet the new EnergyGuide label requirement, as specified in the Code of Federal Regulations, 16 CFR 305.
